Biography

Snoop Dogg is a West Coast rap pioneer, entertainment mogul, and one of the world’s most beloved pop culture icons. His three-decade career is unparalleled, with 16 Grammy nominations, 35 million albums sold worldwide (his first album, 1993’s Doggystyle, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200), and three Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit songs, including a feature on 2010’s “California Gurls” with Katy Perry. In 2022, he won an Emmy Award for his part in the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show with fellow icon Dr. Dre (who discovered Snoop in 1992), Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent.
