


Omar Apollo


Biography
Omar Apollo is an R&B singer from Hobart, Indiana. The first-generation Mexican-American artist began releasing music in 2017 with early singles “Pram” and “Ugotme,” the latter of which was featured on his debut EP Stereo in 2018. Apollo’s sophomore EP, Friends (2019), and debut mixtape, Apolonio (2020), soon followed. The singer’s debut album, Ivory (2022), topped Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart, featured his breakout single “Evergreen (You Didn’t Deserve Me At All)” and helped earn him a Best New Artist nomination at the 2023 Grammy Awards. In the wake of Ivory, Apollo unveiled one-off single “3 Boys” and EP Live For Me (2023) featuring songs like “Ice Slippin,” “Angel” and the title track. Preceded by singles “Spite” and “Dispose of Me,” Apollo’s sophomore album God Said No is set to be released June 28, 2024.
